Florenc is a transitional area located in the centre of Prague, on the border between Nové Město and Karlín. The area of the demolished city walls, on which the territory is located, was used in this part of Prague in the mid-19th century for the construction of transport infrastructure and remained undeveloped.
Florenc and its surroundings are a transport hub of national and European importance. It includes Masaryk Railway Station, Prague-Florenc Central Bus Station, and a transfer station for metro lines B and C. Tram and bus lines are within walking distance.
Florenc21 is Prague’s most ambitious inner-city regeneration project transforming a long-neglected brownfield along a busy arterial road into a vibrant, green and inclusive new neighborhood.
The proposed programme for Block B01 envisions a dynamic office building with activated groundfloor along the streeta and beneath the flyover. Its north-eastern edge will connect directly to the Florenc metro station, ensuring a smooth flow of people.
Block B02 is conceived primarily as a residential block, the buildings will also feature retail outlets along the street level, activating the streetscape.
B03 and B05 are primarily conceived residential, offering a broad range of apartment types, including micro-living units, complemented by street-level retail and small amenities.
The block B04 is designed as a lively residential hub, with a hotel at its core and retail outlets activating both the street level and the space beneath the Wilsonova flyover.
Blok B06 will be a new administrative block in the heart of Prague, that will help transform Florenc into a vibrant hub of offering jobs right at a major public transport node.
