At Penta Real Estate, we strive to meet the highest environmental, social, and regulatory standards. We place strong emphasis on the use of modern technologies and responsible management of waste, water, and energy consumption, in line with current international certification criteria. In 2023, we joined the GRESB initiative for the first time and became a proud member of both the Slovak and Czech Green Building Councils.

We focus on urban development through the creation of comprehensive projects and the revitalization of brownfield sites, bringing new life to previously neglected areas.

We support communities by creating high-quality public spaces and promoting an active, healthy lifestyle. This commitment is reflected not only in our projects but also in their public spaces.

Another key area of focus is education and the advancement of the real estate sector in Central Europe. We collaborate with universities, organize lectures and site visits for students, and aim to bring the world of real estate development closer to future professionals.

Environmental

We build modern buildings that meet the highest standards of international certifications / PENB. We create new, functional urban districts, revitalize neglected brownfield sites, and restore and renew valuable historical landmarks.

In our commercial projects, we consistently apply the highest international certification standards. In our residential developments, we aim to achieve the most energy-efficient ratings. We implement sustainable solutions such as photovoltaic panels, green roofs, heat pumps, and systems for rainwater harvesting, water recycling, and greywater reuse.

At Penta Real Estate, we place strong emphasis on responsible construction waste management.
In addition, we provide containers for separated waste collection across all our office, residential, and hospitality projects, actively encouraging sustainable behavior among tenants and residents.

In our projects, we implement modern technologies aimed at reducing water consumption. We use rainwater for irrigation and landscape maintenance — for example, through the installation of new retention tanks that help improve the microclimate and support efficient water management. These solutions enable us to maintain greenery around our buildings in a sustainable way.

We strive to reduce electricity consumption — the common areas of our buildings are equipped with motion sensors that minimize unnecessary lighting. We implement energy-efficient LED lighting and actively support electromobility, including the installation of charging stations across our projects.
We also integrate our properties into the electricity grid stability system through the use of backup generators.

For all of our office and hospitality properties, we aim for green certifications

  • For our office projects, we aim for green certifications at the minimum level of LEED Gold and in the city centre LEED Platinum.
  • For modern hotels we consider BREEAM Excellent
  • We have achieved over 20 building certifications and precertifications to date, which demonstrate our commitment to achieve leadership in our built portfolio.
  • Moreover, we are exploring green certification possibilities with respect to our residential portfolio. We design our residential projects with the goal of achieving an energy performance certificate rating of class A or B.

We create modern spaces for our tenants and residents to enjoy high-quality leisure time. Great examples include community terraces and gardens, children’s playgrounds, outdoor workout zones, bicycle stands, designated barbecue areas, and shared spaces for relaxation and socializing.

In recent years, we have organized several community and neighborhood events — from gatherings for office tenants to activities for residents of our residential buildings. We actively engage in the social life of the neighborhoods surrounding our projects.

Tenant and resident satisfaction is important to us. We regularly conduct satisfaction surveys that provide valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement.

We care about all stakeholders in the vicinity of our projects — from the planning phase, through construction, to project completion. We organize professionally facilitated participatory meetings with key stakeholders.

We promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle by creating both outdoor and indoor workout zones equipped with modern facilities, diverse playgrounds, and accessible open staircases.

We also support cycling by providing infrastructure such as bike paths, stands, garages, showers, and dedicated facilities within our buildings. Our projects are always well connected to public transport, enabling tenants and residents to choose more sustainable modes of mobility.

We share our expertise at relevant conferences with international reach and regularly pass it on to students through lectures at universities.

We support cultural events and organize site visits within our projects.

For students and graduates, we organize the SMART Deal competition, which helps uncover new talents and supports their professional growth.
