Architectural design of the hospital building is the work of a Dutch studio – Dutch Health Architects. It is based on set medical practices, modern approach, top-class technological equipment and quality of the provided care. The overall design of the hospital is framed by a 3D plastic facade which consists of V-shaped panels. Each of these has a different angle of curvature.
At the same time, the hospital meets strict criteria of what we know as the concept of healthy environment. Bright surroundings with lots of windows and large glass areas, which let in sufficient daylight, can make the recovery of patients a little bit faster.
The choice of materials will reinforce the overall atmosphere of the hospital. The emphasis will be placed not only on their color or shape but also on their acoustic properties or even smell.
The most modern of hospitals will be available for free not only to the residents of Bory but to patients all over Slovakia as well.
