The completion of Victory Square in Prague 6 - Dejvice is one step closer

At yesterday's press conference, the winner of the international architectural competition for the completion of the 4th quadrant of Vítězné náměstí was announced - it was a joint design by the Dutch office Benthem Crouwel Architects and the Czech studio Opočenský Valouch Architekti.

“I like how the winning proposal addresses creation of quality public space – it includes an attractive pedestrian zone with a direct connection to the subway and an inner square surrounded by shops and restaurants, while at the same time leaving room for the popular farmers' markets. There will also be large areas of greenery in a quiet residential courtyard," said Petr Palička, director of Penta Real Estate and a member of the competition jury.

The concluded contract obliges the winning team to finalize the proposal in the form of an urban study with regulatory elements for the entire project area. "We have already concluded an agreement with the winning team, so work on the project can begin. We are now concentrating on finalizing the architectural study based on suggestions from the competition judges. The preliminary date for the completion of the buildings is at the turn of 2028/2029," adds Petr Palička, director of Penta Real Estate.
