Last week, we managed to sell the fully occupied BASE coworking center, which is part of the Churchill office complex in Prague 2. The buyer is none other than Scott.Weber Workspace, which continues to expand and strengthens its role as a leader within the Prague flexible offices market. Penta Real Estate will leave the operation of the coworking center to the current number one on the market and will fully concentrate on new development projects, among others, in the area of Florenc and the Central Train Station.

“The Prague BASE concept was a combination of perfect location, stylish workplace, high quality and top-notch facilities paired with the carefree flexibility typical of a coworking environment. However, we have seen consolidation in the flexible office market by specialist operators who, thanks to a wider range of locations, can offer their tenants greater levels of flexibility. Instead of further growth of the Prague BASE concept, we have therefore decided to concentrate on our key business – the development of large transformation projects in the wider center of Prague. However, we will maintain BASE operations in the unique environment of the Jurkovič heating plant in Bratislava,” says Pavel Streblov, director for commercial construction at Penta Real Estate.
