The tram to Bory is one step closer to becoming a reality

At the end of last year, we signed a cooperation agreement with the Bratislava City Hall to extend the Dubravsko-Karloveská radial route to the Bory district. The first phase of the new tram line will be 1.8 kilometers in length and will extend to Bory Hospital and the first phase of the Bory Bývanie project. Four new stops will be added along the route, with one of them also serving as a stop for the Bory Station, the future terminal of integrated private transport. As part of the construction process, we will be compiling all necessary documentation for issuing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and documentation for zoning and building permits.

The construction of the tram track is preceded by the extension of Saratovská Street which is currently waiting for the building permit validation. As an investor, we have been actively working on this project for a significant period of time. We have also purchased the land under the future transport section for a cost of around 2 million euros. Once the construction is completed, we will transfer the ownership of the land to the City of Bratislava.

The Bory district will thus become even more accessible not only to its residents, but also to the visitors of the shopping and entertainment center Bory Mall and the patients and employees of Bory Hospital.
