Penta Real Estate has obtained a final building permit for the HYBE project in Prague’s Hybernská Street. The development will transform the site of the former post office building into a boutique office property featuring premium office space, retail units, and services. The project will create an attractive street-level environment that combines the building’s historic elements with contemporary architecture.
HYBE will further contribute to the ongoing transformation of the area surrounding Masaryk Railway Station, complementing existing developments such as Florentinum, Masaryčka, and The Cloud One hotel. A key aspect of the project is the preservation of the building’s original façade, ensuring that the historical character of the location is respected and maintained.
The architectural design was created by Jakub Klaška, who also contributed to the Masaryčka project and previously worked at the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects studio. Compared to Masaryčka, HYBE will be a more intimate-scale development while offering a similarly high level of quality and premium standards.
The project will also connect to the planned covering of the Masaryk Railway Station tracks and the creation of a new urban platform that will improve accessibility and better link surrounding parts of Prague’s city centre. Project completion is scheduled for 2028.
