Penta Real Estate has introduced a new concept called Penta Art, which will unify all of its activities in the field of art and the cultivation of public space. The goal is to engage artists, designers, and other creatives in projects to a greater extent than before and to become one of the leading private commissioners of public art in the Czech Republic.
Penta Art will regularly offer new opportunities for both established and emerging artists, connect professionals from the art world, and involve the public in a dialogue about the shape of public spaces. Art will now appear not only in completed buildings but also in the early stages of projects, including during the creation of visualizations.
The concept will also extend into other areas of the Penta Group, such as healthcare, where art already plays a significant role for example, at the Dr. Pírek Clinic in Mladá Boleslav.
Penta Real Estate has already placed dozens of artworks by renowned artists such as David Černý, Tony Cragg, and the studio DRAWetc. Notable examples of the fusion of architecture and art include the Masaryčka building with its unique golden façade by Zaha Hadid Architects, and Victoria Palace at Vítězné náměstí.
Currently, an art competition is being prepared for the Vinohradská 8 project. This will be the fourth competition of its kind organized by Penta Real Estate, and the first under the Penta Art banner.
