National cultural monument – Jurkovič Heating Plant is located in the center of SKY PARK by Zaha Hadid project and is the last remnant of the industrial history of the locality. Jurkovič Heating plant was damaged heavily during the bombardment of Apollo refinery in 1944. Years. Years after the end of its operation, it fell into disrepair. However, Penta managed to reconstruct this monument and give it a new purpose.
Today, flexible offices BASE, café with art gallery and event space are located inside the heating plant and a restaurant will open its gates soon, as well. Each visitor will thus be able to enjoy the atmosphere of this unique space with great legacy, the reconstruction of which took a lot of time and work.
