Penta Podcast: Is the new Construction Act a feast for developers?

The Building Act in Slovakia has not been significantly amended since 1976 and therefore did not reflect the present-day requirements at all.
As a result, the construction process was slow, inflexible, and unnecessarily over-bureaucratized which resulted in many problems, not only for developers. The law also complicated the construction process of family homes or large infrastructure projects such as highways.
However, a change finally took place and Slovakia will enjoy new construction legislation. What news will the law bring and what are the biggest changes we can expect? Will housing finally be cheaper and more affordable? Will the construction process be simplified?
