An architectural and urban planning competition for the Southbank project.
In August, we launched an open architectural and urban planning competition for a project on the south bank of the Danube, in an area that we perceive as important for the development of the capital city, with the ambition of becoming a counterpoint to the emerging downtown and Central Business District on the other side of the river.
Three invited prestigious foreign studios – Zaha Hadid Architects, Office for Metropolitan Architecture and Bjarke Ingels Group – confirmed their participation in the two-round competition.
