BRIQUE Secures Final Building Permit, Construction to Begin in June
The joint BRIQUE project in Veleslavín by Penta Real Estate and EPD Group has received final building permit approval, with both sales and construction scheduled to begin this summer.
The new residential district will be developed on the site of a former industrial area based on a design by Schneider Seko Architekti. The project will offer 114 apartments, ranging from one – to four-bedroom units, as well as 27 terraced family houses. The architectural concept has been designed to complement the surrounding development while preserving the area’s residential character. As a result, the project will combine peaceful living with excellent access to Prague city centre and Václav Havel Airport Prague.
In addition to housing, the development places strong emphasis on creating high-quality public spaces. The new neighbourhood will feature public areas with children’s play elements, community spaces and places designed for residents to meet and spend time together.
The attractiveness of the location will also be enhanced by significant improvements to transport infrastructure. Within the next few years, the Prague–Kladno railway line is scheduled for modernisation, including a connection to Václav Havel Airport Prague. Part of the railway line will run through tunnels, while a new cycle path will be created above the tunnel section, expanding opportunities for sustainable mobility in the area.
The residential part of the project is scheduled for completion in 2028, while the overall transformation of the wider area is expected to continue over approximately ten years.
