We are delighted to present the selection of teams advancing to participate in the 4th Quadrant architectural competition!

On Wednesday, September 21st, 2022, the 2nd meeting of the jury tasked with evaluating the International Architectural Competition for the 4th Quadrant  of Vítězné náměstí took place. The jury has selected ten teams from the fourty-four submitted applications to participate in the competition. Teams often composed of very renowned architects, urban planners, landscape architects and traffic engineers from all over Europe, but also from overseas, have demonstrated interest in participating in the competition.

Throughout several rounds of discussion, the jury has evaluated the professional approach, the quality of the reference projects and other required criteria specified in the competition conditions, therefore selecting the following 10 competition teams:

  • CHYBIK+KRISTOF ASSOCIATED ARCHITECTS s.r.o. + Thornton Tomasetti + Marko and Placemakers
  • Cityförster PartGmbB + Studio Perspektiv, s.r.o.
  • MLA+ B.V
  • MVRDV
  • Pavel Hnilička Architects+Planners, s.r.o., Baumschlager Eberle Architects
  • Pelčák and partner architekti, s.r.o., Thomas Müller Ivan Reimann, Gesellschaft von Architekten mbH
  • Office for Metropolitan Architecture Stedebouw B.V.
  • Snøhetta Studio Innsbruck

These teams were invited to develop and present at the 2nd competitive workshop in February 2023, introducing their unique concepts for completing the 4th quadrant in Prague 6.
