The successful Sky Park project, which will bring world-class architecture to the centre of Bratislava, will be extended. The three towers, which form the residential part of the Zaha Hadid´s project, will be complemented by the fourth tower on the neighbouring piece of land. This fourth tower, offering new living, is currently at the stage of the environmental impact assessment (EIA).

The fourth residential tower has identical parameters (31 above-ground floors and a height of 103.8 metres) and the same unique architectural design as the previous three towers. In total, it will offer 264 apartment units and 372 parking spaces. The new tower will also include retail and civic-amenities premises.

We are delighted that this unique project has been welcomed by clients and by the public. At present, almost 85% of the apartments in the first three residential towers is sold. Another residential tower, which is a copy of the previous ones, will not only bring the expansion of Zaha Hadid´s Sky Park, but also new public space by the studio of this unique architect,” says Michal Padych, Director of Residential Projects at Penta Real Estate.

The expansion of the Sky Park project will grow on a plot adjacent to the original project. The piece of land belonging to the new residential tower is almost 7,000 square metres and its acquisition from the former owner took place this year. Thanks to this acquisition, the public space will expand further and a new city park with an area of more than 30,000 square metres will be built upon the completion of the project.

Currently, the first three residential towers are under construction and they are expected to be completed by the end of 2019. The Sky Park project also includes two office buildings, one of which already has a building permit.

About the Sky Park project

The author of the project is the recently deceased and world-renowned architect and designer Zaha Hadid. Her concept envisages a minimum built-up area and it will bring a new city park to the centre of Bratislava. Together with the construction of the Sky Park project, the reconstruction of the facade of Jurkovičova teplárna (Jurkovič Heating Plant), which is a national cultural monument, is planned.
