We have recently entered into a partnership within the area of professionally managed rental housing with the XPlace platform, which is owned by the Archdiocese of Prague. Thanks to this business agreement, XPlace’s rental portfolio will be enlarged by two turn-key built apartment buildings situated within the new city district of Waltrovka, close to the Vidoule nature park. For us, this is the first cooperation focused on long-term rental housing. The partnership will be symbolically celebrated by the joint tapping of the foundations of the new construction, which will take place at the end of February 2024.

“It is an honor for us to cooperate with the Archbishopric of Prague, and I greatly appreciate the professionalism of our partners throughout the preparation of this project. I believe, that we have just started a long-term partnership, and we will also embark on other residential or socially oriented projects together. We have already sold almost 800 apartments within the popular Waltrovka location. I am sure that the new tenants will also discover a pleasant place to live within this new district,” says David Musil, Deputy CEO of Penta Real Estate.

Split into two planned apartment buildings, 54 premium-quality housing units will be created, primarily intended for young people at the beginning of their careers. The top floor will consist of larger apartments suitable for family living. All apartments are energy-saving oriented, equipped with recuperation units. All of them are also extended with front gardens, balconies or terraces. 69 parking spaces will be available to future tenants. Furthermore, tenants will be able to take advantage of a wide range of amenities that have been created in Waltrovka in recent years. The location is also easily accessible by transport (200 meters to the suburban train stop, 400 meters to the nearest metro station).

The architectural concept was created by Bíza Architekti studio in cooperation with AFRY. Construction has already started. Completion and occupancy of the first apartments by tenants is planned in second quarter of 2025.
