Last week, we ceremoniously opened a reconstructed building of Jurkovič Heating Plant, which is a reference to an industrial history of the locality and furthermore became a heart of SKY PARK by Zaha Hadid project. The main guest of the event was Jim Heverin, Director of Zaha Hadid Architects, who has joined the team in 1997 and has been part of SKY PARK project since the beginning.
The evening was accompanied by amazing violinist Filip Jančik and his band. The concert had amazingly completed the overall atmosphere of this unparalleled space, which was designed by Martin Paško and his team from df creative group. Dušan Jurkovič’s granddaughter had also accepted an invitation for this evening.
Jurkovič Heating Plant is with no doubt the most unique project not only for Penta Real Estate, but for Bratislava as well. Despite the difficulty of the reconstruction, thanks to courage of our colleagues and teams of architects, we were able to build an amazing space which for sure does not have a competition in Slovakia.
