Penta Real Estate and MAT Corporation have completed a transaction with Česká spořitelna to acquire three office buildings located in the vicinity of the Budějovická metro station in Prague 4. The Czech Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) approved the transaction, allowing the properties to come under the joint control of both partners.

Penta Real Estate and MAT Corporation will jointly control BP Budějovická, BP Olbrachtova and BP Poláčkova, the companies managing the buildings. The transaction creates an opportunity for the coordinated and long-term development of one of the busiest parts of Prague 4, an area that is currently fragmented from both a spatial and urban planning perspective. The transformation of the area will be carried out in phases based on a detailed site analysis and urban planning study.
