We managed to secure a loan from ČSOB and Česká spořitelna for the construction of the administrative part of the Nová Waltrovka project in Prague’s Radlice. The Metalica and Legatica office buildings will further join the five existing office buildings that separate the residential part of the site from the busy Radlicka Street on the former brownfield of the Walter Aircraft Engine Factory.
“We have excellent experience with the financing banks on both sides. Despite the challenges associated with Covid, the further disruption of supply chains and the increase in costs, we have managed to stick to the outlined schedule at Nová Waltrovka. The amount of the loan provided reflects the costs of the overall completion of the project,” said Penta Real Estate’s director for commercial construction Pavel Streblov. “It is our pleasure to participate in the financing of this project, which links to the ČSOB head office, and thus to be a part of the ongoing revitalization of a neglected location with high-quality development, where high standards and elements of long-term sustainability are present” said Director of Real Estate Financing of ČSOB’s Structured Financing Department, Lenka Kostrounová.
