Our portfolio is expanding

In August, we acquired land in the cadastral area of Bratislava – Nové Mesto. The land with an area of almost 4.5 hectares, framed by Vajnorská and Odborárska streets, was acquired as part of the bankruptcy proceedings from the debtor – the Fiscal Services Internatiol, s.r.o. company.

The land is intended for construction of future residential projects, including the implementation of public amenities as well as commercial establishments which should be located on the ground floor of the residential buildings. The location has potential for future development as it already possesses good public transport accessibility. A railway station as well as Kuchajda Lake and natural pool are both in close proximity to the property.

An architectural and urban planning competition will bring more information and details about the future development, including a visual design of the project. We are currently preparing all the necessary documentation for its implementation.

This long neglected and unused land has the character of a brownfield. We already have many years of experience with revitalization of similar lots of land and buildings. "As a developer, we spend considerable effort and resources on revitalization of brownfields to further their use. A great example would be Jurkovič Heating Plant in Bratislava - a National Cultural Monument which we have successfully reconstructed and given new purpose for the public to enjoy. We believe that this project will be renovated just as successfully. As part of the construction, we are prepared to thoroughly address the removal of any potential environmental burden. Our goal is to revitalize this abandoned area in a way that will be beneficial to its future residents, tenants, but also the city district itself.," said Juraj Nevolník, Executive Director of Penta Real Estate Slovakia.
