Discussion debate with regards to the Freight Station Žižkov

Last week, a debate within the series ,,Openly about Prague“ took place, which this time focused on one of Prague's largest brownfields - the Žižkov Freight Station. The focus of the debate was on plans for the transformation of this area, which will gradually become a new, live city district. The program, which was intended primarily for the Prague public, consisted of three blocks: the first introductory part was devoted to familiarization with the entire issue; this was followed by a moderated debate by 4 panelists, and the whole evening ended with questions from the public.

One of the panelists was David Musil, commercial director of residential and hospitality construction within Penta Real Estate, who mainly presented the benefits of our proposed residential project, which is under preparation in the north-eastern part of the development zone, and our overall view, as a developer, of the particular micro-location. The residential houses that will be built in Prague's Žižkov under our direction will offer approximately 530 apartments with layouts ranging from 1+kk to 5+kk with loggias, a terrace or a front garden, while passageways will connect the northern and southern areas of the project. The territory will be dominated by a green 1-hectare park, which will offer plenty of benefits such as pedestrian and bicycle paths, a children's playground, rest areas as well as water features.
