Bory Bývanie – we are starting Phase 2

In the new urban district called Bory, Phase 2 of the Bory Bývanie project is being prepared. Within its framework, the construction of 287 apartments in nine residential buildings with four to six above-ground floors is planned. The project already has a valid planning permit and it is currently in the process of obtaining a building permit. The start of construction is planned in the third quarter of 2018.

Bory Bývanie 2 will offer quality architecture by the studio of Vallo Sadovsky Architects. The chosen architectural design connects apartment buildings into residential blocks with a shared underground parking floor. Thus, the individual apartment buildings are set on stages whose roofs are designed as green areas and used as semi-private space for the inhabitants of the respective residential block. Overall, 405 parking spaces are planned for the second phase of the project.

Phase 2 of the project includes a public central park, with a total green area reaching more than 12,000 square metres. The author of the design of the public space and of the park is the LABAK studio – winner of the Architecture Prize in the Exterior category. The dominant natural element of the park is a pond with a connection to a small square, around which areas for smaller business premises, such as cafés or small shops, are situated.

"The interest in modern and ecological housing at Bory surprised us – pleasantly, of course. At present, Phase 1 of the project is almost completely sold out, with the completion scheduled for the end of this year," says Jozef Šimek, Head of Sales and Marketing at Penta Real Estate. "Clients are particularly attracted to the ideal location close to the Bory Mall and to the Small Carpathian Forests, which provides a perfect combination of entertainment and relaxation," he adds. Those interested in living in Phase 2 will find all the information on the www.borybyvanie.sk website.

About the Bory project

Phase 1 of the Bory Bývanie project consists of nine five- or six-storey residential buildings with almost 300 apartments. The Bory Mall shopping and entertainment centre and several large retail outlets such as Metro, Hornbach and Decathlon are also situated in the new neighbourhood.

Within Bory, Penta Real Estate plans to build gradually not only several residential projects, but also a new-generation hospital for all the inhabitants of Bratislava. The transport infrastructure is now fully built, including a junction to the D2 motorway.
