The architectural and urban planning competition was launched in mid-August last year. Out of the 52 proposals received, six world-renowned architectural groups were selected for the second round, when they developed their designs in greater detail. When choosing the winner, the jury of professionals evaluated the design’s underlying concept, its complexity, the quality of urbanism and architecture, and the use of public space, with an emphasis on greenery and the natural context of the project’s location.

The winning design will be presented to the professional public in early April, and subsequently to the general public as well.
